Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide The "Validation & Test Leader" is responsible for the Verification and Validation activities within the "Train Control & Information Systems (TC&IS)" department, for one or several projects, depending on the projects and experience. He/she functionally leads a team of V&V engineers (V&TE) in charge of : carrying out the verification of the functional & software requirements specifications, software architecture and detailed design specification, covering all the functions of the train (power, traction, brake, passenger access, etc.) specifying the tests, execute them and write the test reports, at the different levels of the software development cycle (software component tests, integration tests, overall tests/functional tests), using different test means (PC, test bench, TrainLab). He/she defines the test environment: definition of the test bench, reception of the test bench, subsystem modeling (MIL/SIL) or integration of subsystems on the bench (HIL), test tools. He/she develops test automation and maintains a watch on test tools. He/she defines the test strategy and formalizes the feedback, which he/she exchanges with the other V&TL, with the aim of continuous improvement. He/she ensures the configuration management of test deliverables, actively participates in change management (bug reports, change requests), and follows up on open points within his/her scope. The "Validation & Test Leader" interacts mainly with the project's Train Control Engineer (TCE), the team in charge of designing the SIE software (System Control Engineers, integrator), the software quality engineer, the RAMS engineer and the organization in charge of software evaluation/certification (if applicable). The "Validation & Test Leader" reports hierarchically to the site's Train Control V&V Manager (Verification & Test Domain Leader - V&TDL). Skills: Industrial IT/Automation engineer, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in V&V Software or Software Quality. Rigorous, with a good capacity of analysis and synthesis. Good knowledge in system engineering: railway, aeronautics, naval, ... Experience in the railway environment is a real advantage. Knowledge of the software development process (V-cycle) / software quality, with Quality Cost Time objectives. Knowledge of CENELEC standards EN50126, EN50129, EN50128, EN50657. Ability to work in a matrix, multi-site and international organization. Leadership, ability to lead a team (functionally) Good interpersonal skills, good communication skills.
