ROLE AND DEPARTMENT In the Global Luxury Consumer & Marketing Insights department, you will work with our international teams to help them in their day to day & strategic thinking needs, as well as analyze who our target consumers and shoppers are, how we can influence their purchase decisions, how we can create exciting in-store & online shopper experiences. Reporting to the Shopper & Beauty Prospective Knowledge Director and to the Global Consumer Insights Director , working on Premium Fragrances, Skincare & Makeup categories, you will be responsible for: SHOPPER & CATEGORY KNOWLEDGE SIDE: Support research needs, build presentations and influence marketing and retail teams with key insights from latest quantitative and qualitative studies. Working with the consumer and shopper insights managers to plan new strategic & new marketing research studies. Work on building and maintaining data bases & KPI reporting. Stay at the cutting edge of new retail and shopper trends, using our extensive information sources to inspire innovation across our brands and retail teams. Understanding shopper & consumer attitudes, behavior, usage, online and offline shopper journeys, using existing information as well as new innovative digital tools. Lead your own project that will serve to educate and excite a company-wide audience on a hot topic. CONSUMER SIDE: Assist the CMI managers to answer Global Marketing needs in term of research (advise on methodology, elaborate on questionnaires / discussion guides with research partners, provide suitable test material, attend fieldworks, and contribute to elaborate relevant synthesis and recommendations) Contribute to transversal projects, deep diving into consumer knowledge, including all relevant areas of humanities (semiology, sociology…) as well as quantitative data. WHAT YOU’LL BRING We’d love to see candidates: Analytical minded, with the capacity to summarize & extract key insights with a clear purpose. Basic statistics knowledge: not afraid of figures. Confident to take the lead and defend their projects. Rigorous, responsive, curious, and proactive. Attention to detail Excellent planning and organization skills, ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once. Interested in beauty and consumer trends Microsoft Office skills, esp. Excel and PowerPoint WHAT WE OFFER This is a unique role with a genuine opportunity to make an impact. OTHER 6-month placement in our offices in central Paris, starting in July 2024. English is the company language. French is a bonus but not required. Microsoft Office skills, esp. Power point & Excel.
