L'ambition du département SmartEyewear – Lens est d'être à la pointe de la technologie pour offrir des solutions de lunettes intelligentes au plus grand nombre. Il s’agit, par exemple, d’identifier et qualifier les meilleures architectures pour des lunettes de réalité augmentée avec prescription. Pour accompagner les évolutions technologiques et préparer les futures générations de produits, nous souhaitons renforcer notre équipe chargée de la dimension architecture optique et analyse des performances (Simulation, Metrologie) Ces travaux se feront en étroite collaboration avec les autres équipes de R&D dans le cadre de projets internes, de projet Européen (Popular) avec des partenaires et des clients externes. Study manager Drive EssilorLuxottica optical activities WP5 related to the "Popular Project" (EU funded project) Analyse the question and define the approach with the team and his management Define the different workpackage of his program/study Transversal management of technical team Contribute to identify relevant technical topics that could lead new program opportunities Communicate the results Organize/Participate to the DOE within the department Analyse options and define the technical paths Define the test plan including operating procedure, characterization means Build the experimental tooling if not existing (internally or with subcontractors) Participate/Conduct the experiments Analyse and present results Protecting our Knowledge Identify potential IP in his/her environment and follow the internal process with the support of PVI Watch Participate to the watch activities in this field of expertise applied in the AR domain, Patent and Scientific Literature PROFILE: Master's degree or Engineer in Optical Design with a t least 5 years of experience in optical set-up design Expertise in optical/optronic set-up design, optical prototyping, manufacturing , optical testing bench design Good knowledge of simulation tools ( Zemax , Matlab/scilab ...) Good knowledge of optical metrology and image characterization Knowledge on holographic /diffractive components and waveguide combiner would be highly appreciated Experience in Technical Project management Strong sense of innovation, high technical curiosity & willingness to try new solutions Combining both optical theory strong knowledge, and ability to implement concrete test/embodiments Both technically rigourous and open to novelty /confortable in uncertain technical environment (agile) Strong team working skills Good technical communication skills in French and English
