Location: Valenciennes Ensure Industrial Quality compliance with Customer requirements & ALSTOM applicable standards. Lead Zero Defect Program in the factory. Organization Reports directly to: Site Quality Director Direct reports: Industrial Quality Engineer / Technician Quality Inspector Quality Process Manager/Method Quality Engineer What are my responsibilities? Accountability & Authorities Support PME to ensure non-compliance risks analysis using Process FMEA. Lead implementation of Quality Control Plans using REX of previous project execution & associated relevant IQ staffing. Lead control & process digitalization. Improve Quality level per main processes: Perform analysis & manage actions to improve the outgoing product quality. Escalade the main anomalies detected on the production lines & ensure their effective treatment (Problem Solving tools). Support of manufacturing for quality topics: Stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework. Support manufacturing teams to develop self-inspection. Lead quality animation methodology deployment, in line with Continuous Improvement system. Manage & develop the industrial quality team, using Q-School process & yearly training / qualification plan. Manage APSYS improvement plan for Industrial Quality scope. Performance measurements Defects per Unit reduction (10 % per year). External demerit objective. CONQ objective (for CONQ S1.1 & S1.3). APSYS score for Industrial scope. What do I need to qualify for this job? Eudcation: Master’s degree in engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent. Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools. Experience: Processes knowledge on Quality and at industrial level. Management experience. Minimum 5 years experiences in Industrial. Project management or equivalent. Competencies & Skills Technical mastering of railway products. International mindset & fluent in English.
