North France EPCM Background Engineering ( Ingenierie ) Main responsibilities and accountabilities: The Supply chain lead will be responsible for the project as: Single point of contact to the other departments within the org. Coaching / Mentoring a team responsible for EXPEDITING aspects withing the project. Coaching / Mentoring a team responsible for PROCUREMENT aspects withing the project, in close relation with Purchasing team. Coaching / Mentoring a team responsible for LOGISTICS and QUALITY INSPECTIONS withing the project. Support Project Steering Committee for relevant Supply Chain issues plus internal reviews and coordination with stakeholders to address gaps. Escalate any project governance issues and drive continuous process improvements through the project lifecycle. Analyse areas for advancement and ensure communication via various platforms also via whilst improving Project Governance. Collaboration with EPCM in the integrated team approach under the common Purchase lead and help EPCM in all terms of internal processes. Selects global and local vendors for the tendering process and develop frame agreements related to materials, equipment and/or services following standardization strategy. Performs the Risk Analysis for the project, as well as the implementation of mitigation actions. Handles the tendering process in order to ensure the short listing of the best offers in terms of equipment quality, availability and TCO. Uses purchasing productivity tools (e-RFQ, e-sourcing). Lead the final negotiations for optimized contract which maximized purchasing performance. Designs the contract aligned with General Conditions for Capital Purchases. Performs cost analysis and benchmarks on his/her project in order to ensure the submission of an optimized solution to IAC. Assess and manage claims (including insurance), resolve disagreements & issue change order under the program governance along with Program Procurement lead. Selection Criteria & Experience: Masters degree in Engineering or Technical field as Mechanics, Electricity or Civil works or business administration At least 10 years of experience in Engineering or/and in Purchasing (Site Buyer, Site Operations/Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics, etc.) Experience in CAPEX procurement Strong negotiation skills Good communication skills Dynamic, persistent, working autonomously and taking initiatives Proficiency in Office Databases (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Keen commercial sense Languages: French and English (advanced) Please contact Nick on
