Project Overview: The project will involve management of changes, implementations and releases throughout the SAP Landscape for an enterprise and international customer in the Fashion and Retail industry. The SAP Demand and Release Manager will be working from Paris office, coordinating change and release distributed teams. The professional will manage the portfolio of change request, drive and enforce SAP Release management best practices making sure all changes are delivered in quality and on time, ensuring customer satisfaction. Work Location: Paris Roles and responsibilities: Manage the change request portfolio in collaboration with various domains (Finance, Supply, etc.) and the Functional Integration team. Oversee the portfolio of changes and change management processes for SAP project and maintenance activities. Coordinate a change and release team with members across three regions (EMEA, AMER, APAC) to ensure continuous (follow the sun) support for release activities. Maintain and administer change request management tools (JIRA). Implement and orchestrate the delivery process for releases (resulting from projects and change requests (maintenance activities). Plan, prepare, and coordinate the deployment of releases in collaboration with other teams (primarily domain managers and project managers). Validate and communicate release content, ensuring reporting to IT teams and associated communications (system unavailability, refreshes, upgrades, etc.) before deployment in each environment (development, integration, acceptance, production, etc.). Manage third-party vendors providing support and enhancement for the SAP toolset in release management. Qualifications and skills: Scientific degree/master's, preferably computer science, engineering or business management Extensive and proven expertise on SAP Release Management as well as in SAP projects and maintenance activities SAP functional knowledge Strong experience in change management with ChaRM and/or JIRA Project experience in an international and multicultural framework, working with distributed teams. Strong coordination skills to manage the activities of internal team and subcontractors’ teams. Excellent English knowledge. French and Italian skills would be an advantage.
