Within the group working on reliability and new product development, we are looking for an R&D Engineer, Materials Mechanics & New Product Innovation (Permanent Contract CDI – m/f/d). Our customers come from different areas of industry (Automotive, High-Tech, Pharmaceuticals, etc.) and are looking for innovative material solutions for their high-tech product.Your main mission will be to support them in defining their specifications, then to offer them the appropriate innovative solution for their application (choice of materials, process).To successfully complete this mission, you will need to:- define and carry out experimental and/or theoretical studies aimed at evaluating the product (mechanical, thermal and optical) in order to meet the customer's specifications.- work jointly with the customer(s) during the different phases of development of a new product: prototyping, preliminary tests on test benches, vehicle tests, approval. - collaborate with internal and external experts within the group- communicate results internally and externally. - manage a team of two engineers (PhD) reliability We are looking for a Doctor in Mechanics and Materials specialized in fracture mechanics, with experience in developing new products. Skills: Solid basis in the behavior of materials: fracture mechanics; lifespan, behavior and aging of materials, modes of damage.Solid knowledge in digital modeling. Analytical modeling would be a plus.
