Our opportunity is based at the production site in Chartres, which is undergoing a massive investment of 2.1 billion euros as part of a global program involving other sites worldwide. About The Department You will have a unique opportunity to join the expansion project department and to support and put in place the site expansion strategy. You will support the management in taking strategic decisions, and you will manage a team of 6 people. The position As a Governance and Finance Manager, your responsibilities will be divided into 4 pillars: Project Governance: Define and maintain the governance setup for the expansion project department’s program, ensuring an efficient, agile, and straightforward approval process; Communicate and share the governance setup with key stakeholders; Prepare high-quality materials for approval, including the Novo Nordisk Investment Project Governance Commmittee, Executive Management, and Board of Directors. Reporting Standards: Develop a reporting plan supporting project governance, covering information needs for key decision-makers and stakeholders; Implement digital solutions for efficient and transparent reporting, transitioning from traditional monthly reports to a digital solution with live updates. Budget Management: Define, manage and optimize budget cycle. Ensure the process in accordance with Novo Nordisk Financial compliance rules and the headquarter standard; Support investment portfolio for the site programme in accordance with the headquarter guidance; Drive monthly reporting through the management level; Align on financial target with site Finance department. Support and Training: Ensure continuous support and training for projects, sites and the governance team members; Build a platform and framework for efficient reporting and data consolidation; Facilitate learning and optimisations across projects and throughout the program. Qualifications : You have a Bac+5 level of education in the field of finance. You have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role in finance and governance in the investment (CAPEX) environment. You have experience in project controls. You have at least 7 years of experience in direct people management. You a fluent level of English. You are an effective and experienced communicator. You have proven leadership results and an ability to develop and lead high-performing teams, motivating skilled professionals. You are strong and enduring, and you have a flexible mindset. You are sociable and positive, creating good stakeholder relations.
