The primary role of an iLUKA Host is to act as an Ambassador representing our Client’s brand and the delivery of exceptional and memorable hospitality experiences to all guests who join us on our global events.Hosts can be deployed in a variety of settings and the focus of the role will vary slightly dependent upon the environment.We will be looking for hosts to work throughout the Event (July/August 2024). Some Host roles will continue through to the next event, which would be (August/September 2024). Key Responsibilities:Primary Responsibilities To deliver an exceptional hospitality experience to the clients’ guestsUnderstanding guest touch points, provide a friendly and welcoming meet and greet serviceBe the first point of contact and meet and greet guests on arrivalManage and organise guest groups to ensure that they are in the right place at the right timeAccompany guests throughout their journey and deal effectively with any issues or problems that arise in order to make the guest experience a smooth and enjoyable oneProvide information and assistance to guests in all situations and at all stages of the programmeDeliver outstanding customer service and create an environment that is friendly, fun and guest focusedTo co-ordinate guest departures as their experience draws to a close Specific Responsibilities whilst working in the following environments:Airport Act as first point of contact for guests arriving at the airport and provide a friendly and welcoming meet and greet serviceAct as the last point of contact for guest departuresManagement of guest listsEnsure a smooth transition through the airport and hand guest over to the transport host teams Hotel/Desk/Lounge Man the Hospitality Desk to check in guests to the hotel/hospitality programme, provide information and assistance to guests in the hotel relating to the local area and their specific programmeEnrich the overall guest experience whilst in the hotel Hospitality Venue Meet and greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner · Ensure the venue is immaculately presentedProvide assistance to the venue teams on an as needed basis · Support F&B/Lounge team on elements of F&B within the Lounge Event /Coach Provide information and assistance to guests at all points of contact, whether at the hotel, on the coach (Executive Bus/Vehicle) or at venuesAccompany assigned guests on a daily basis throughout their programmeManagement of guest listsMeet and greet guests in a friendly and welcoming mannerProvide information and assistance to guests as requiredAccompany guests on their journey and ensure a smooth transition to other host teams on arrival at the destinationManagement of guest lists Venue/Showcasing Manage and Organise the safe and efficient flow of guests through the venueProvide VIP reception services/cloak room servicesManage queue and crowd issues in a safe mannerProvide information and assistance to guests as required This is not an exhaustive list and all team members will be expected to contribute to any other aspects of the business, as necessary.Skills, Knowledge, Expertise: Fluent in English and FrenchExperience using smart phones/tabletsHighly effective communication and interpersonal skillsA fun, ‘Can Do’ attitudeConfidence to manage and engage with groups of people in a variety of settingsAbility to think on your feet and resolve problems calmly and efficientlyA desire to deliver the very best levels of customer serviceHigh energy, comfortable working potentially long hours in a demanding but rewarding and friendly environmentFlexible, enthusiastic, confident, outgoing, well organisedWilling to roll sleeves up and get involvedTeam PlayerSelf-motivate Attributes: High energy, comfortable working potentially long hours in a demanding but rewarding and friendly environmentFlexible, enthusiastic, confident, outgoingWilling to roll sleeves up and get involvedPassionate about sport, hospitality and deliveryAble to work in a calm, kind and professional manner in a pressured environmentAbility to prioritise a demanding workload
