About the role Reporting into the Senior Business Manager, Continental Europe, the Business Manager – Eastern & Southern Europe role is to take ownership of a number of Continental Europe markets (Eastern & Southern) that are prioritised as High Potential Luxury wine markets for Penfolds. This channel provides an important and visible growth area for TWE in its journey to Premiumise its business through the high growth of its Luxury brands. Wines are sold in Specialist retailers, On Trade, and E-Commerce. Grocery & Impulse . Some of the responsibilities of this role include: * Sell 100% of nominated allocations at a customer level through exceptional execution of the annual Penfolds collection plan * Develop customer relationships in line with agreed channel plan and commercial requirements * Input into Luxury strategy through ownership of the Geographies * Achieving volume and financial targets with the team * Deliver new distribution/listings for Penfolds to deliver the budgeted plan. * Achieve NSR, distribution and GP targets as agreed for nominated account base * Monitor and Support A&P + D&R budgets with internal & client stakeholders * Attend trade tasting / events as required About you We are looking for an experienced Business/ Sales Manager ideally with experience in FMCG, preferably in the Food and Drinks Category. You will have a proven sales track record in business development and Account Management. * Fluent in English and French is required * Good experience in the Luxury Wine industry, with proven Luxury and national / key account management sales experience – 5 Years minimum as Account Manager (or equivalent) * Outstanding Negotiation and Selling skills * Detailed understanding of how to develop successful partnerships with Luxury customers. * Confidence and ability to deal with leading industry figures up to MW level. * Knowledge and capability to understand and leverage Penfolds winemaking assets. * Contacts in the Luxury Wine industry and strong current relationships What’s in it for you The opportunity to be bold and make an impact in the world of wine Access to the world’s most celebrated wines through our employee product allowance True flexibility in determining how, when and where you work to achieve your potential Global opportunities across Australia & New Zealand, the US, Asia, UK/Europe Opportunity to build a career across multiple functions (we’re really good at doing this!)
