Senior Consultant - Property Loss Control

General Responsibilities: Surveys - Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate the property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on internationally recognized standards (NFPA and others as appropriate). Travel is to be expected regularly, mainly in France and in the Benelux. Develop recommendations based on standards to include loss estimates before and after completion of the recommendations. Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems. Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, special and natural hazards. Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss Work assigned is typical of higher technical need as well as being in direct contact with upper client management, including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers. Professional conduct and excellent written/verbal communication skills are required as the position requires direct contact with upper client management, including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers Provide project management services to include special visits, plan reviews, and oral/written presentations to clients. Functional Responsibilities: Review and respond to communication from clients and internal communication Carry out fieldwork, report writing, consulting, and plan review. Review workloads and revise accordingly Come to a sound conclusion based on information collected and the applicable standards/guidelines required. Gather and communicate information in a clear and concise report/letter/e-mail.
